From September 9th and 10th

The Barr boys fine tuning a meat bee trap.

These carnivores gorge themselves on raw hotdog and fall in the soapy water to drown.

After 45 minutes, most of the beas were gone. The pot had over 50 dead pests in it.

Our campground had this sign close to our campsite.

"Iron spring"

Jim Adams was out on his recently purchased Geery 18 with his crew Earl Gordon.

Jim added a mast-head float after suffering a capsize and turtle a few weeks earlier.

The wind on Saturday was about 8 - 12 with gusts to 16. Fast and challenging!

We launched at the Forest Service Boat ramp and headed out to play.

Two cats came out. Paul Melcon's Prindle (left) and Mark Forwalter's Nacra.

Jim had that Geery moving nicely, keeping up with our Thisle off the wind.

I didn't have the heart to cut good shots like this...

When we got a few hundred yards off the tree lined West Shore, the wind became steadier.

Mark Forwalter was enjoying the scenerey, despite the hazy conditions.

Paul and Karen Cole were smoking on that Prindle 18-2 catamaran.

Look at the twist in that mainsail. That's fast!

Once in a while, the cats were flying hulls.

It's a BIG lake... 10 miles long!

Mark and Grant Barr in the Thistle. We were on and off a plane all afternoon.

We had quite a feast at the BBQ.

Too many cooks?

Burned works too!

Does it have a bathtub?

New to sailing were Laura Malloy and her Husband Branden.

Low key

We went out for breakfast in Pratville. It was much warmer than camp coffee.

4 bar reception

Two tars

Richard Silvera chatting with the Sherriff while rigging his new Ranger 20.

In the cuddy with loyal friend, Zoey.

The Barrs and Mark Forwalter took a two hour cruise on Richard's Ranger. What a boat!

Crusing the San Juans?

I took photos from the dock. Eventually, they came back to pick me up. Photo: Mark Barr

The Barr boys enjoyed the view from the Bow.

Obviously pleased with his new purchase.

Kelly and Mark Barr trying the Ranger 20. The helm was light and balanced.
