It was very relaxing at the dock. There were only a few bass boats out on this fine day.

Chris and Grant Barr crewed on the Prindle 18-2 for the day.

We all rushed out to the starting line, as fast as we could go.

It was a parade initially.

Just at the gun, several of us were caught a ways behind the line...

Just behind the Krigbaum's Holder was Jason Smith in his Venture 22.

We had 4 keelboats racing on this day.

The Hunter and the Windmill sailed close for most of the day.

More close racing between the Hunter and the Windmill.

About 4 minutes after the start of the race, the view back towards the dam was spectacular.

Even though our Prindle was leading the race, we lost to Dave and Jody in that darned Windmill.

Grant and Chris Barr sat forward on opposite bows to keep our boat's tail from dragging.

The Krigbaum's Holder 20 (left) was drag racing with the Ritchie's Hunter 216.

Dave and Jody seemed to hug the east shore and find some extra speed there.

Dan Helmick was back from about a year's break from sailing. He took 5th for the day in his Flying Dutchman.
