Feather Fiesta Race on May 13th

Turned into a Cruise When the Wind Died...

A brisk Westerly finally filled in on the homeward leg.

Jason & Paul leaving the dock with their new Nacra Mylar Mainsail... Smokin'!

What a beautiful Sail. Look out Nacra Fleet...

Dave Neilsen Sailed is Winmill Solo for the day.

Dave's new high aspect rudder seemed to work fine.

Wade Hough and Jim Marazzo led the "fleet" of 4 boats up the north fork.

That Nacra was fast, but had to jybe downwind, while the monohulls sailed on a run.

A big puff came through and the nacra went by my Thistle like it was standing still. ZOOM.

When the wind died, we ghosted for a while before turning back towards the main body of the lake.

Jim Marazzo found whatever shade he could in these very warm conditions.

Jim Adams crewed with Mark Barr on Pink Slip.

Our GPS route for the day took us 14.3 miles. We finished in a fresh breeze, planing at times.

Here is a wind graph of the wind at the dam on this beautiful day.
