Año Nuevo -- BSC members at the Afterbay
1/10/2009
Two FJs, the Raven, a Nacra 18, and a pink (yes, it is really PINK!) Thistle on a windless sail on the Afterbay. Sunny, warm and no wind is not a sailor's delight. The FJs looked comfortable in the early light zephers and abandoned when the wind died. The others floated about and Jason and Paul (Nacra 5.8) and Mark and Mark (Thistle) engaged in a spirited drifting competition. Still, the boats worked and nothing broke. Altogether, it was a good day. All we want for February is a moderate wind!
